Damals war die Firma BAU-MAYER fast allein auf weiter Flur, heute ist sie in einem modernen Gewerbegebiet, in dem mehrere tausend Menschen arbeiten, eingebunden. In den Anfängen beschränkte sich das Angebot auf Maschinen und Geräte für den Hochbau, heute ist die Palette breit gegliedert - für viele Gewerke des Roh- und Ausbaugewerbes. Der Handwerker findet seinen täglichen Bedarf ebenso wie die notwendigen Arbeitsgeräte und Maschinen. Handwerk, Kommunen und die örtliche Industrie finden ein attraktives Programm vor. Schon frühzeitig hat BAU-MAYER erkannt, dass für wechselnde, kurzfristige Einsätze die Anmietung von Maschinen und Geräten eine kostengünstige Alternative ist. Voraussetzung für gutes Funktionieren ist die Meisterwerkstatt und der Ersatzteildienst.
